19 years ago

Wow.  Nineteen years ago, I gave birth to my first baby.  I cannot believe 19 years has gone by since I first held her. 

She has grown to be an amazing young woman. 

I miss her dearly and cannot wait to see her on Monday.  I think I’m officially changing her birthday to Monday; this way I’ll still get to be with her on her birthday.  Works for me.

Mary, I love you, I miss you, and I’m very proud of  you.  I promise you lots of good food, laughs, and cake while you’re home for Christmas break.  And maybe I’ll even be able to get you up early one morning to run with me.  I can hope, right!?!  ;)
