I did my weekly Publix run this morning with Hannah and Kali. It helps when you have two really cute helpers with you in the store. The sales this week at Publix are the same as last week because of the Easter holiday. The new sale will start on Monday, but I couldn't wait that long!
Here's what I got:
1 - Cinnamon Raisin Bagels
3 - Gallons - Publix OJ
2 - 1/2 Gallons Tropicana 50 OJ
4 - Pounds of Grapes
2 - Bunches of Green Onions
1 - Bag of Pinto Beans
1 - 18pk of white eggs. Shhhhh....I know, they're white, chicken farm eggs. :( But we're just using them for easter egg dying and I didn't want to pay out the nose for brown, free range eggs for that.
4 - cans DelMonte Petite Diced Tomatoes
2 - Ziploc Freezer Bags
1 - Bag Black Beans
2 - Jars Ragu Sauce
1 - Jar Greenwise Salsa
1 - Jar Newman's Own Salsa (there's a reason for this madness! Buy Newman's get Greenwise salsa free)
1 - "thing" of Green Beans from the produce section
3 - small containers of Greek Yogurt
1 - small bunch of Baby Portobellos
1 - bag Dried Fruit Mix
1 - Dozen Brown Free Range Eggs :)
2 - Kraft Dressings
2 - Boxes of Cocoa Crispies (again, shhhhhhhh....I'm such a baaaaad mom!)
1 - Bag Quaker Ranch Rice Cakes
1 - Bag Publix Ranch Rice Cakes - ditto the buy theirs/get ours free thing
2 - 1/2 Gallons Organic Valley Whole Milk
1 - Jar of Chili Garlic Paste
1 - Honey Nut Cream Cheese for my cream cheese nut
2 - packs of juice boxes
1 - box Frosted Flakes
4 - cans crushed pineapple
And all for the low, low price of $82.16 with a savings of $48.86. Yay!
I am, however, going to Sweet Bay on Sunday - gasp!! If you go there on Sunday and spend $25, you get a $10 coupon good for next Sat. or Sun. I need flour. Might as well get it there and get a coupon, right!?
And if you're following our menu this week, I'm changing tonight's "leftovers" to Chicken Egg Foo Young. Yummmmmmm. Alex doesn't like it, so he'll be eating leftovers. Hannah asked me about Egg Foo Young last week, and I can't get it out of my head! I better make it before I'm sitting outside some chinese restaurant and drooling.
