Free Stuff Thursday

Earlier in the week, I had gone to Walgreens to take advantage of the sales they're having this week. They've got Garnier Fructis (and I probably spelled that wrong) on sale for 2.99 a bottle. They also have a coupon in their Easy Saver book (at the front of the store) for $2 off each bottle. Yes, that makes it .99 cents. But wait.....there's more.....coupons were out in the papers for the past few weeks for $1 off a bottle. That makes them free. I got 9 free bottles of shampoo and conditioner.

This morning, Alex had to run a few errands so I had him stop off at Walgreens for me. Here's what he got:

5 bottles of hairspray, 2 tubes of gel, 1 bottle of mousse, and 2 bottles of shine spray, and one bottle of shine drops. Same deal for the styling products as for the shampoo this week.

Because for some reason he thought the girls might like a Reece's bar to share. Awwwwwww.

$3.41 for 9 bottles of styling products and 1 candy bar.

The "museum of stuff" (as Alex's office closet is called) is stuffed full of - stuff! Shampoo, conditioner, soap, dishwasher tabs, razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, etc., etc., that we've paid next-to-nothing for. Thank goodness.


Hey look! It's time for Driver's Ed class. ;) Dang, I better go clean off the kitchen counter; I didn't realize how much crap I put up there this morning. Oops.
